Great deal on Laundry Detergent!

Great deal at Walgreens through Saturday! They are having a 4 day sale! The town I live in doesn't "have" the 4-day ad, so you will have to go online to check it out if you live by me! :)
Go to this site for the ad http://www.walgreens.com/default.jsp and about halfway down it says Your local walgreens, and under that it says view weekly ad!
They are having a great sale on laundry detergent, if you're interested, go here: http://walgreens.shoplocal.com/walgreens/Default.aspx?action=browsepagedetail&storeid=2431757&rapid=628053&pagenumber=4&listingid=-2090629766 and click on print store coupon..
THEN go to www.armandhammer.com and on the upper right, click on "Print coupons". It'll ask for your email address then pop up a screen where you can click coupons you want to print. Print one off and you can get the laundry detergent for 99 cents!! Can't beat that! :) (The laundry detergent one is the very first one on the upper left!)

Good day at Dillons!

Well today was a good 'ol day at Dillons. Here's how it went:
3 strips (they are a 3pk) of Fleischmann' Yeast (on sale for $1, had cpn for 45c/off doubled to 90, only paid 10 cents each!..but that's not all...you also get a 50 cents off your next purchase for each one that you buy. PLUS, that 50 cents gets doubled..so technically, for every yeast that I bought, I MADE 90 cents! woohoo!)
Sure Deoderant on sale for $1/ea. had cpn for $1/1... so FREE
Tennessee Pride Sausage Gravy on sale 10/$10. I had 8 cpns for $1/1, so got all 8 of them FREE!
3 lbs. bananas on sale for 47c/lb.
Yoplait 16 pk gogurt (on quick sale for $2.50)
Dora 8 pk yogurt (on quick sale for $1.19)
My total was $30.46 but, after my coupons..... I only paid $1.96!!! I had 4 50 cents off coupons from buying yeast the other day, and I was shocked to find out that they doubled those 50 cent off coupons.. so today was a HUGE savings at the grocery store, 96% savings!! YAY!

Good Day Shopping :)

We went to Walmart today & here's how it went.....

6 Johnson & Johnson "Travel-Sized" First Aid Kits (used (2) $3/2 coupon, & They were only 97 cents, so I actually got 6 of them, and got them all for FREE, plus I made 18 cents!)
2 Travel Pkgs of Wet-Ones (Had (2) coupons for 75cents/1, They are 97 cents,so I only paid 22 cents/each!)
1 Glade Wisp Flameless Candle (Walgreens has these on sale for 3.99, so I took in the sales ad so they would do a ad-match, and PLUS I had a coupon for $3 off (that came in one I bought yesterday), so I only paid 99 cents!)
4 Boxes Arm & Hammer Baking Soda (had (2) coupons for $1/2 and they were 46 cents/box, so they were all 4 FREE, plus I made 16 cents!)
1 17 ct pack of Goody Ouchless Ponytails(price $2.28, had coupon for $2/1, only paid 28 cents!)
3 Fusion Razors($4.94 per razor, and had (3) coupons for $4 off, so only paid 94 cents each!)

Total due before coupons...$30.69+tax and what I PAID....$4.19+tax!!!
I think I did well!! haha.

And then I decided to go onto Dillons really quick because Austin wants beans 'n cornbread tomorrow :)
I bought...
Betty Crocker Frosting(on sale for $1.69, had 50 cent paper cpn that was double to $1, and had a shortcuts.com coupon for 55 cents, so I only paid 14 cents!!)
Summer Sausage ($1.35)
But here's the kicker.... I had a $1 "shortcuts.com cash" because they had messed up the other day, so they took the $1 off, and with tax and everything, I only had to pay 68 cents! The cashier was laughing! :) haha.
I think I just might be getting a little good at this!

www.shortcuts.com is great :)

I just have to say that I'm VERY impressed with www.shortcuts.com !! I was looking at my Dillons receipt from last night and realized that 2 of the ecoupons that should have worked didn't work! I sent them an email, and within minutes (literally like 2 minutes after submitting the dispute), I got an email saying they were putting "shortcuts cash" onto my card. So the next time I go grocery shopping, that will automatically be taken off my total. I'm very impressed at how quickly they resolved the issue! Thanks Shortcuts.com!

My 1st post!

I used to clip coupons a long time ago, but honestly got sick of shuffling through them in the store and having to cut all of them out. It was just such a pain! Recently I realized just how much we could save by using coupons, so I figured we'd better start again! My sil had a great idea of getting a 3 ring binder and getting the baseball card holders (plastic sleeves) and using that to put the coupons in. I LOVE IT! It makes it so much simpler and a breeze to go shopping!
I've told quite a few people about my money saving recently, and thought I'd start a blog to show how my savings add up. There are times that I save a LOT of money when I go, and sometimes just a few dollars, but those few dollars add up quick. It's been my mission lately to see how many groceries I can get for as little as possible. A few weeks ago, the grocery store paid ME to go shopping! I "bought" about $50 in groceries, and got almost $8 back in cash!
There are 2 websites that I think everyone should sign up on and those are
www.shortcuts.com and www.pgesaver.com They will put electronic coupons onto your dillons card and you can combine those "electronic" coupons with paper coupons! All you do is select which coupons you want to be added to your card, then when you buy those items, it automatically comes off your total. If it's from shortcuts.com it'll say Scuts and if it's pgesaver it'll say pgesaver on your receipt. :)
I shop at Walmart, Dillons, Kmart, Walgreens, ummm anywhere that I can find a good deal!
Tonight I went shopping at Dillons & Walmart and here's how the shopping went (it wasn't a HUGE savings, but quite a bit of free stuff nonetheless!)

**Glade Scented oil Candle Refills ($2 each, had cpn for buy 2, get 1 free, so I paid $1.33 each)

**Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers Vegetables ($1 each, had 7 cpns for $1/1, so got 7 bags of veggies FREE!)
**Tide travel packs ($1 each, had 3 cpns for $1/1, so got 3 of them for FREE!!)

Just in this 1 shopping trip alone to Walmart, I saved....$33.54!! and total paid was $24.23 (I also had to buy wetones, and some other household items that I didn't have cpns for, but had to get anyways!)

I'm definitely not a pro at this, but I enjoy doing it. I'm up for any suggestions! Feel free to ask any ?'s or make any comments.
